WELCOME

I've created this site to share our research into our family. You can find histories, photographs, documents and other bits and pieces from the past that help paint personal pictures of our ancestors as they went about their daily lives. If you are interested in the Brooks family of Middleton by Wirksworth, Milford, Derby & Duffield in Derbyshire & Fordingbridge in Hampshire, the Belchamber family of Sussex & the Hurworth family from Yorkshire & the Waters family of Kent - this is the website for you! There are over 3000 individuals on our tree and I am currently endevouring to add as much social background as I can. If you have anything to share, please let me know about it.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

First and foremost, have fun and learn lots! Second, let me know what you think. Did you like the site? Was there anything that could have been represented better? Did you see any errors? Can you fill in any blanks? And third, help our site grow. Email me pictures from your side of the family to include. Do you have any documents? We'd love to add any birth, marriage, or death certificates, property claims, wills, pictures of gravestones, and any other kind of document that can help fill in gap in the story.

Not all the information on these pages is authenticated as yet.... although I am working constantly at checking and recording sources. It is only as good as the information gathered from government records, church records, relatives, and online sources. If you find errors, have feedback, or can offer additional information, please forward it for inclusion in the project. Please note: To protect the privacy of living descendants, some information including photographs, notes and some names and dates are only available to registered users.
